Chennai to Delhi Travel Guide

Chennai is the capital city of Tamil Nadu state of India and also the commercial and industrial capital of the country. Chennai, at some point back in 1st century AD was regarded as the military and economic hub of the section of India. Raj Ghat was constructed to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi, also known as The Father of the Nation. Birla Mandir, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Parliament House, India Gate, Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Rajpath are some more places you might want to visit while you’re in the national capital.

You can travel from Chennai to Delhi by flight if you prefer a less time taking journey. Flights take only 3 hours of time to cover the distance. By road, the distance is around 2283 kilometers and it will take almost 33 hours to reach the national capital. A number of trains ply regularly from Chennai to Delhi too. Trains to Delhi depart from Chennai Egmore and Chennai Central railway stations. You can also board Rajdhani Express train which connects major cities of India with its capital city.
